Wilson Reis, Yuji Hoshino and Shigeki Osawa confirmed for SRC 12

The inaugural Sengoku Raiden Championship fight card of 2010 is starting to take shape with the addition of Wilson Reis (9-1), Yuji Hoshino (16-7-7), and Shigeki Osawa (4-1).

SRC 12, which is scheduled for March 7 at Ryogoku Kokugikan in Tokyo, will air on HDNet in North America. The fight card is punctuated by the SRC middleweight title bout-cum-rematch between Jorge Santiago and Mamed Khalidov.

Wilson Reis, former EliteXC 140 lbs. champion, makes his SRC and Japanese debut against Yuji Hoshino.

Reis, a highly touted grappler who holds a black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under Roberto Godoi, was a favorite to win the featherweight tournament during the first season of Bellator Fighting Championship. After defeating Henry Martinez via unanimous decision in the first round of the tournament, he was upset by the eventual winner, Joe Soto in the semi-final round.

He has since restored his winning way with consecutive victories over Roberto Vargas and Dwayne Shelton at Bellator 10 and Locked in the Cage 1, respectively.
